DK Welchman is one of the stronger parts

Looking just at DK Welchman's work as Director, there is a clear point of view in the performance. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It is not the whole reason to watch the film, but it meaningfully improves the experience.
