Anthony Lavilla has good moments, though not fully even
7/10 · Sound
What stood out to me about FAQIR (2019) was how Anthony Lavilla handled the role. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
