This role does not fully suit Raphael Auger

Raphael Auger's contribution as Gaffer gives Marinette (2023) a more specific texture. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
