Jean Frenette works in parts

Looking just at Jean Frenette's work as Fight Choreographer, there is a clear point of view in the performance. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
