Jiří Chlumecký is solid, with a few rough edges

There is something pretty interesting about how Jiří Chlumecký fits into Into the Darkness (2023). I would not call it bad, just not as sharp as it could have been. It is solid enough, but there are moments where it feels a bit on autopilot. The quieter stuff works better than the bigger beats. I like the idea of the performance more than the full result. Some scenes click, some just sit there. I can see someone else being kinder to it, but I did not fully get there.
