Andrés Hernández Covarrubias never quite convinces

What stood out to me about Old Well (2024) was how Andrés Hernández Covarrubias handled the role. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
