Ashton Swinford feels too thin here

Ashton Swinford's contribution as Reporter gives The Sex Trip (2017) a more specific texture. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
