Zoey Deutch feels too thin here

I kept coming back to Zoey Deutch's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
