A useful but uneven turn from Harvey Yazijan
7/10 · Acting
Harvey Yazijan's contribution as Self gives Cola Wars (2019) a more specific texture. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
