Ryota Furukawa is solid, with a few rough edges

I came away thinking about Ryota Furukawa's work as Animation Director more than I expected. A few choices felt pushed, and that pulled me out of the scene. I kept waiting for a more specific angle on the character. The performance does the job, but not much more than that. It feels like the role needed another layer that never quite showed up. I can see someone else being kinder to it, but I did not fully get there.
