This role does not fully suit Rubens Mello

Looking just at Rubens Mello's work as Director, there is a clear point of view in the performance. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
