Tad Pride has good moments, though not fully even
7.5/10 · Visual Effects
What stood out to me about Dark City (1998) was how Tad Pride handled the role. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
