Lau Tze-Ming feels too thin here

What stood out to me about Three (2016) was how Lau Tze-Ming handled the role. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
