This role does not fully suit Haylie Duff

Haylie Duff's contribution as Director gives The Neighbors Are Watching (2023) a more specific texture. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
