A useful but uneven turn from Vic Armstrong
7/10 · Crew
I kept coming back to Vic Armstrong's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
