Oleg Asadulin never quite convinces

What stood out to me about Buns (2022) was how Oleg Asadulin handled the role. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
