A useful but uneven turn from Anita Korosi
6/10 · Acting
What stood out to me about Live and Die in East L.A. (2020) was how Anita Korosi handled the role. I appreciated the intention more than every individual moment. The performance has a clear idea behind it, but the execution is not equally strong throughout. A few scenes feel specific and grounded, while others fall back on familiar choices. There is some texture here, but I wanted a little more surprise. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
