Strong, thoughtful work from Jackie Chan

I kept coming back to Jackie Chan's choices here, especially in the smaller beats. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
