Sasha Myshkina has good moments, though not fully even
7/10 · Camera
Looking just at Sasha Myshkina's work as Director of Photography, there is a clear point of view in the performance. Even in crowded scenes, the performance keeps a clean line through the story. What works best is the balance between restraint and clear emotional intention. It adds value without trying too hard to dominate the film. There is enough texture in the quieter beats to make the role feel lived in. The choices are controlled without feeling mechanical, which makes the character easy to trust. My reaction is mainly about this specific film, not a judgement on the performer overall.
