Misti Moreaux never quite convinces

Misti Moreaux's contribution as Costumer gives The Butler (2013) a more specific texture. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The work never fully settles into the rhythm of the movie. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. That overall aftertaste is what stayed with me after the credits.
