This role does not fully suit Andrew Redekop

What stood out to me about Pixels (2015) was how Andrew Redekop handled the role. Several choices feel too broad for what the scene seems to require. The performance is functional, but it does not leave much after the scene ends. It is not a careless performance, but it feels under-shaped. I wanted more specificity, especially in the emotional transitions. Different viewers may value it more, but for me the effect was limited.
